My name is Sarah and I have been a qualified pharmacist for 25 years. I am registered with
the General Pharmaceutical Council and I am a founding member of the Royal
Pharmaceutical Society of Great Britain.
I have completed a postgraduate level 7 diploma in Aesthetic Medicine and I have also
carried out further training to become a qualified prescriber. These extra
qualifications enable me to ensure that my patients are in safe hands, and
allows me to look after them holistically.
Today I offer a range of aesthetic treatments and I pride myself on the natural look.
Every client is different and I don’t believe in a one size fits all approach.

Anti-Wrinkle injections
Fine lines and wrinkles appear as we age and there are a number of factors influencing their development such
as: genetics, excess sun exposure, and lifestyle factors such as alcohol, smoking
and diet. However there are a number of treatments available that can be used
to help soften these fine lines to give a more refreshed appearance.
One of the most common treatments are anti-wrinkle injections. This is a non-invasive
procedure that uses a naturally occurring toxin: Botulinum toxin A or Botox as
its more commonly known, that is injected into the muscles of the face. The
toxin temporarily paralyzes the muscles and prevents them from contracting. As
the muscles become relaxed after the treatment the lines appear softer. The
most frequently treated areas include the forehead, frown lines between the
eyebrows (glabellar lines), and crow’s feet around the eyes.
Anti-wrinkle injections are
non-surgical and an appointment typically takes around 30 minutes. The
injections are relatively painless and do not require anaesthesia. However,
some patients may experience mild discomfort or a slight stinging sensation
during the procedure. A numbing cream can be applied to minimise discomfort.
The effects of the toxin usually become noticeable within 3-4 days and the full
results can be seen within 1-2 weeks.
